Minding the Gap, America to Me win at Cinema Eye Honors

Both and America to Me took home top prizes at Thursday's 12th Annual Cinema Eye Honors, presented at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, NY and hosted by Steve James.

Minding the Gap earned three prizes – tying with Free Solo as the most decorated film of the night, including Outstanding Achievement in Editing, Outstanding Achievement in Direction, and Outstanding Achievement in a Debut Feature Film. The film's participants Keire Johnson, Zack Mulligan, and Mengyue Bolen attended the ceremony as well.

America to Me won the inaugural prize for Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Film for Broadcast.

Rotten Tomatoes also announced this week that America to Me is the recipient of the Golden Tomato Award for Best Reviewed Docuseries 2018. America to Me is now available to view via Starz, Amazon Video, Google Play and iTunes.

Minding the Gap is now available to stream via Hulu, and is currently enjoying an extensive theatrical release as part of its advancement in the voting process for the 2019 Academy Awards in the Documentary Feature category.
