Loyalty: Stories to make Chicago premiere Nov 8, 9 in honor of Veterans Day

In honor of Veterans Day 2018, Kartemquin Films and the Robert R. McCormick Foundation Veterans Program will present the Chicago premiere of the new documentary series, Loyalty: Stories, by producer and director David Washburn.

Loyalty: Stories explores how American Muslims serve their country, community and faith, while also confronting questions about patriotism, religious identity and belonging. It shines light on the contradiction that arises when Muslims volunteer to defend a nation that does not always defend them.

Six new episodes from the ten-part documentary series will debut in Chicago on Thursday, November 8 and Friday, November 9, followed by digital releases on social media @LoyaltyStories and on Upworthy over Veterans Day weekend.
