The Houston Cinema Arts Festival announced today that Gordon Quinn and Kartemquin Films would be honored at its 7th annual festival. Held from November 12th through November 19th, 2015, HCAF is hosted by the Houston Cinema Arts Society and is dedicated to showcasing films about the arts.
As part of the Quinn and Kartemquin tribute, screenings of Golub, Almost There and On Beauty are scheduled. There will also be two panel discussions at the Rice Media Center with documentary film scholar Patricia Aufderheide and Almost There director Dan Rybicky.
Most events will take place at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and Miller Outdoor Theatre, but a complete detailed schedule will be available on October 20th here.
