America to Me, the 10-part documentary series from director Steve James, begins a nationwide 10-city tour tomorrow, August 24, in Atlanta, GA.
The tour is part of the America to Me "Real Talk" civic engagement and educational outreach campaign launched by Participant Media alongside the release of the series, which premieres on STARZ this Sunday, August 26 at 10pm ET/9pm CT. The campaign aims to inspire dialogue and action around the issues of race and equity highlighted in the docu-series.
Each week, in a different city, the campaign will bring together a cross-section of influencers, stakeholders, educators, students, parents, and politicians for a pre-screening of that week's episode and a panel discussion that helps drive engagement and encourage locally-hosted, candid conversations about race and equity.

"While I think America To Me is a must-watch series, and doubly so if it takes you out of your comfort zone, recommending it doesn’t feel like quite enough. I don’t just want people to watch it. I want everyone to really sit down with it, to discuss it, to find concrete actions to fix the systemic issues within the education system, to actually understand the financial and racial struggles instead of distancing themselves through a screen. Which, I suppose, is a testament to America To Me‘s power."
- Pilot Viruet, Uproxx.
