We are excited to announce that Almost There has been selected to deliver a Central Pitch at the 2013 IDFA Forum. IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam) takes places from Nov 20 - Dec 1. IDFA’s international co-financing and co-production market, the IDFA Forum, will take place from 25 to 27 November in the Compagnietheater in Amsterdam. During this market, filmmakers and producers present their documentary projects to commissioning editors from international television stations and other providers of finance, with the aim of completing the financing for their documentary projects. In total, 50 projects have been selected for the upcoming IDFA Forum, and just 17 were selected to be Central Pitches. Directed by Dan Rybicky and Aaron Wickenden, Almost There is due for completion in early 2014. Dan Rybicky will attend the forum with Gordon Quinn and Justine Nagan, executive producers for Kartemquin Films, and Claire Aguilar of ITVS International. Find out more about Almost There, and follow the progress of the film on Facebook and Twitter. This selection sees Almost There become the third Kartemquin film represented at IDFA 2013. IDFA - the world's largest documentary festival - will also hold the World Premiere of American Arab and the European premiere of The Trials of Muhammad Ali.
