Media non-profit helps media non-profit

A handful of Kartemquin staff, interns and friends volunteered their time last night to help with WTTW's fall pledge drive. They answered phones, took pledges and helped Chicago's public television station raise money to stay on the air.

In the Family receives additional support

In the Family is grateful for the continued support of the Michael Reese Health Trust. The Trust recently renewed and expanded their commitment to the film, awarding In the Family an additional $25,000 for 2007.

Stevie continues its tour of Japan

In late October, Stevie screened to an audience of over 200 people in Nagano. A week of screenings in Hiroshima begins today, then the film heads to Saitama. Support of the film in Japan has been great -- special thanks to Momo for all her hard work
