Presentation by Alex Kotlowitz at Governors State University in University Park, IL

The Governors State University Honors Program is hosting “Navigating Our Colliding Worlds,” a lecture series featuring presentations by Anna Carvalho, Alex Kotlowitz, and Dr. Charles Payne.

The lecture series starts with a lecture by Alex Kotlowitz, entitled “Making Sense of the Madness: Reflections from Twenty Years of Reporting on Urban Violence,” on April 11, from 5 to 7 PM in the Hall of Honors. Kotlowitz has recently co-produced Kartemquin hit documentary The Interrupters and works as a contributor The New York Times, The New Yorker, and radio's This American Life.
