The Interrupters screens as part of a Kartemquin 50th Anniversary retrospective co-presented by UCLA Film & Television Archive and the International Documentary Association, September 16-26 at the Billy Wilder Theater in the Westwood area of Los Angeles. The Interrupters will be screened during the HESED lectureship. The lecture series promotes awareness and church involvement in social justice issues, thus enabling ‘hesed,’ which is Hebrew for justice, lovingkindness, and mercy.
