Kartemquin speaking to Cinema/Chicago Teacher's Institute

As part of our KTQ in the Classroom initiative, Kartemquin staff members will speak to Chicago Public School teachers tomorrow at Columbia College from 10:30-2:30pm about how they can use our films to open discussions on a vast array of complex social subjects. We'll be sharing a number of clips and drawing on our vast archive of discussion guides and educational modules. Kartemquin staff will also preview Interruptviolence.com, a new cutting-edge video website based on The Interrupters designed for use by educators and young people affected by violence.
