Kartemquin co-founder and Artistic Director Gordon Quinn and Steve James, a Producer with Kartemquin for over 20 years, will discuss the 45th anniversary of Kartemquin with acclaimed documentary filmmakers and critic AJ Schnack on his Silverdocs radio show.
Quinn and James will also discuss respectively A Good Man and The Interrupters, their Kartemquin documentaries screening at this year's Silverdocs Festival. Violence interrupter Ameena Matthews will also take part in the show.

The film about choreographer Bill T. Jones' creation of a dance-theatre piece about the life of Abraham Lincoln will air at 9pm on Friday November 11th (Veteran's Day) as part of the PBS Fall Arts "Festival" programming, with the WTTW broadcast representing Chicago's Arts scene.
PBS announced their major fall programming this week, selecting the world television premiere of A Good Man to represent arts in the Chicago region. Kartemquin's new film, about the Tony Award-winning choreographer Bill T. Jones's creation of a dance-theatre piece inspired by the life of Abraham Lincoln for the Ravinia Festival, will air on American Masters on a Friday night between October and December as part of PBS' inaugural Fall Arts Festival.
