A Good Man & The Interrupters at IDFA, Virginia & Doc NYC
The International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) has selected A Good Man and The Interrupters for its 2011 edition, running November 16-27.
With Virginia Film Festival and Doc NYC also showing the pair, IDFA will mark the 7th festival of our 45th anniversary year in which both films have screened together!
The films' respective directors Gordon Quinn and Steve James will attend for Kartemquin, with Zak Piper, The Interrupters co-producer.

Kartemquin is also screening 8 of our films at a 45th anniversary tribute at the 2011 Virginia Film Festival, from November 3-9, plus the world premiere of the Bill T. Jones Company's University of Virginia performance 100 Migrations.

Doc NYC hosts the New York premiere of A Good Man on Nov 5th. Co-director Bob Hercules and Janet Wong of the Bill T. Jones / Arnie Zane Dance Company will be present. The Interrupters director Steve James also hopes to be at the film's return to New York on Nov 9th at Doc NYC.
