The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has awarded grants to two in-progress Kartemquin projects, Invisible Seasons and A Good Man.

Invisible Seasons, Maria Finitzo's documentary about the legacy of Title IX legislation, was awarded $50,000 by the NEA's Access to Artistic Excellence program for production and post-production costs.

The NEA also awarded $25,000 from their Arts on Radio and Television program to production costs for Kartemquin's A Good Man, a documentary about choreographer Bill T. Jones' creation of a performance to commemorate the life of Abraham Lincoln which will air on PBS' American Masters series in 2011.
