In case you haven't heard, KTQ Labs Spring Showcase is coming to the Siskel Center this Tuesday, May 15th at 7 pm.  Four works-in-progress by Kartemquin filmmakers will be screened, including Encounters with the Other, a film by director/producer and Kartemquin mainstay Maria Finitzo and editor extraordinaire Liz Kaar.

Encounters with the Other is a study of the indigenous Tsimane people, who live in the Bolivian rainforest, as they negotiate changes brought to their lifestyle and culture by the encroachment of modern society.  Join us after the screening for a stimulating public discussion and feedback session.  Tickets available at Gene Siskel Film Center.
