Hoop Dreams returns to New York Film Festival

When it originally screened at the New York Film Festival in 1994, Hoop Dreams was the first documentary ever to close the renowned festival's programming. Now the film voted the greatest documentary of all time by the International Documentary Association returns to Lincoln Center for a June 5 screening as part of the "50 Years of the New York Film Festival" series.
Join director / producer / editor Steve James and producer / writer / editor Frederick Marx for a rare appearance alongside their acclaimed documentary — Tuesday, June 5, 6:30 p.m. at the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
