The Interrupters screens at the Chicago Urban League in celebration of Black History Month.
The event will begin with light refreshments and food, followed by a poet reciting a poem specially written for the event, we will then present the film and finally there will be a panel discussion. Panelists include Ameena Matthews, Senior Violence Interrupter, CeaseFire, Tio Hardiman, Director, CeaseFire Illinois, Eric E. Whitaker, M.D. MPH, Executive Vice President for Strategic Affiliations, Associate Dean for Community-Based Research, University of Chicago Medicine and Eric Wilkin, Founder, Broken Winggz. The panel will be moderated by Andrea Zopp, President & CEO of the Chicago Urban League.
